Average Rating: Rating: - This is a must have! I have 10 month old twin boys. I got this as a gift at their birth. Since they have been able to manipulate toys they have enjoyed playing with this cube. When one starts it up, the other comes running. This is a toy that will continue to grow with them and teach them the wonders of music. Right now they just enjoy the cause and effect of touching a button and the cube playing. I am looking forward to when they can add & remove instruments to listen to the different sounds and parts. I highly recommend this for any parent interested in spurring a musical interest in their child. Rating: - Great for the growing baby! My son received this as a gift at Christmas. He was 3 mos at the time and it was a bit of a disappointment to the gift giver when he has no interest in it. However, by his 5th month... he was enthralled with it. The large buttons are easy for little hands to slap. The multiple songs are inspirational and enjoyment for both the parent and child. When played in dim room, my son loved the flashing lights. My only negative comments are: I don't think a child below 5-6 mos is ready for the bright lights and sound (no volume control). It's great for music, but not as a "cause and effect" toy. The buttons are so easy to push, he'd set it off with his toes as he was holding it and didn't realize he was doing it. Rating: none - Music Lover!! I received this as a gift when my son was 4 months old. My son has always enjoyed toys that not only make music, but can be chewed on. My son could be entertained with this toy when no other toy could keep his attention for more than a few seconds. Even know at 1 year my son loves to push (or kick) the sides to make different instruments play. The beauty of this toy is that the corners are made of durable rubber that can be chewed on and keeps the toy from damaging things when your child gets to his/her "throwing phase". Will definately buy this for my friends with kids!!
