Average Rating: Rating: - Get some friends and open the box! This game is the perfect party game. The game is supposed to be played until someone gets 5 "green apples". But winning isn't the fun part of this game, playing is. The Judge draws a green card (being the judge goes around the table) with a verb on it. Then the players play a red apple card (noun)from their hand that would match the verb. You have to choose quickly because the last card played doesn't count. The judge decides which red card is most like the green card, and the winner gets the green card. For a party where other things are going on and people are coming and going all the time, this is the perfect game. Rating: - Great for all ages! This is one of those rare games which really bridges the generation gap. I'm always on the look out for a game that is both challenging and interesting for a wide range of ages. This game certainly fills that need. My family has played it dozens of times since purchasing it two months ago. We've played with groups of teen agers, groups of adults, parent and teen groups, grandparents and grandchildren, etc. It is very quick to learn and easy to understand yet the game itself never seems "too easy." The rules are simple and easy to modify to suit your own needs without watering down the game. Although the recommended age range is 12 and up, we've found that younger children (9 and 10 years) can play along with the rest of us with only a few rules changes. We carry it with us when we visit family and friends and plan to purchase the expansion pack for our use and additional game sets to use as gifts. This is one of the best games we've ever purchased (and we buy alot of them!). Rating: none - The Best Game Ever Apples to Apples is the best game ever. It's really fun, and you have to think a lot. Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy this game. You definitely should buy this game- if you want to have a ton of fun!
