Average Rating: Rating: - Great playmat - entertaining and educational We love this mat! It gives us a chance to walk off and do a few things, knowing he is safe on the floor. When our son was very small it was just a mat to lay him on (he didn't care for all the toys etc) Now we play the music and watch him swat at the toys. Now that he can roll over, it is fun to watch him stare at all the colors and look at himself in the mirror when he is getting much needed "tummy time" (we have the version with the jungle animals - not Noah's Ark). It is lightweight, but I disagree that it is easy to carry. I find it hard to fold and store, it keeps collapsing and falling down the back of the chair. Plus, I can't get mine to fold any smaller than the size of the mat itself - although I admit this could be pilot error! All in all a great toy that grows with your baby. Our son (now four months old) has spent many happy times playing on this mat outside the bathroom door as we take showers and get dressed in the am!! Rating: - Wonderful toy from 1 month on! I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 1 1/2 months old. She was mesmerized by the bright colors and interesting shapes. She especially loves the faces and dangling playthings. Now that she's 3 months old, she is starting to grab at the toys and bat at them. I'm so glad to see she can actually grasp them. I can't wait until she can really support her head and I can put her on her stomach to check out the brightly colored, fun mat itself. I would definitely recommend to all parents. It's her favorite place to be (next to my arms!) Rating: - Great toy! A definite recommendation! I have twin, 4-month-old boys and this is one of their favorite toys. They usually happily play in this gym for about an hour each morning, and they love it. They use their feet and their hands to get the toys to move, and the toys can easily be removed and placed on the canopy of their bouncy seats. The gym comes with a good selection of toys, but I purchased two others since I have two babies playing with the gym at the same time, and I've been very pleased with the quality. The only drawback is that I have had to wash the bottom a couple of times because of spit up, and even though I followed the washing directions, the colors faded a bit and the pink/red slightly bled onto the yellow. But despite that, I would definitely ask for this item again.
